• Third IDRBT Banking Technology Innovation Contest (IBTIC) was organized on April 27, 2018 at IDRBT Hyderabad. IBTIC brings out innovations happening in the area of banking technology across the country from academic institutions, start-ups, banks and IT companies.
  
  An eminent jury shortlisted the Top-10 innovations among all the submitted entries from across the banking industry, fin techs as well as IT companies. UCO bank has submitted two innovations 1. UCO Secure & 2. UCO Net Assist. Both the innovations submitted by The Bank were selected in Top 10 entries which were to be demonstrated in IBTIC-2018 at IDRBT Hyderabad.

• By launching UCO Secure mobile applications, UCO Bank has become one of the pioneer Banks in providing security and convenience solution for digital transactions through mobile app. All alternative digital services can be endured through UCOSECURE as per the requirement.

• UCO Bank has been awarded Skoch Order of Merit Award -2016 for HRMS Mobile App on 16.12.2016.

• UCO BANK has been conferred with Special Award by National Payments Corporation of India, in the ‘National Payments Excellence Awards 2016’ function held on March 08, 2017 at Mumbai.

  The Special award recognises excellent performance of the Bank in in select parameters of various NPCI products

  On behalf of the Bank, General Manager (DIT, BPR & BTD) received the prestigious award.

• UCO BANK has been awarded the runners-up under the category of"Best Payments Initiatives”amongst mid-sized banks for the year ended 2016, in the function held by Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) in Banking Technology  Conference, Expo & Awards 2016 held on February 21, 2017 at Mumbai.
  The IBA Banking Technology Awards 2016 recognizes and rewards individuals, professionals and banks identifying themselves in the technology segment of Banking Industry – whose innovative ideas, initiative, risk leadership qualities, implementation of the various initiatives have kept their organizations ahead of their competitors by either:

  • Maintaining the competitive edge
  • Opening up new revenue streams or by
  • Changing the competitive landscape

• UCO Bank has been awarded with Banking Excellency Award 2013-14 by State Forum of Bankers Club at Cochin on 13.12.2014. Bank was adjudged as the best banker at the national level for the year 2013-14. On behalf of the Bank, T S Mallikarjuna,General Manager & Circle Head, Chennai received the prestigious award from Justice Shri P Sadasivam,Retired Chief Justice of Supreme Court and Honorable Governor of Kerala. The function was presided over byShri Abraham Tharyan,Executive Director of South Indian Bank who is also chairman of State forum of Bankers club.Shri Nirmal Chand, Regional Director, RBI was also present on the occasion.
